The team at Northwood Oaks Veterinary Hospital in Gainesville, Florida is looking for our next Chief of Staff. We focus on growth and learning; our team works closely with our sister practice, Oaks Veterinary Hospital, giving our doctors the chance to collaborate and share their knowledge between the two hospitals. Our staff genuinely enjoys coming to work and helping patients and clients. Both hospitals are starting to focus on dentistry to help more pets live longer, happier lives. They both provide CE to advance the staff’s skills in dentistry and are equipped with new dental x-ray.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced veterinarian! This position will be expected to work a day or two at Oaks Veterinary Hospital. The schedule is 4 weekdays with rotating weekends and there are no after hours or on call shifts.

Located in North Central Florida, Gainesville boasts an eclectic night life, and has an array of shopping and dining choices. Payne’s Prairie, Devi's Millhopper Geological Trail, and the Butterfly Garden are just some of the many beautiful outdoor experiences available. Gainesville hosts a large selection of museums and arts venues including Curtis M. Phillips Performing Arts Center. Gainesville also has the University of Florida which is home to the Gators! Sports are a huge part of this community as the Gators have great football, basketball, softball, and baseball teams. UF also has one of the top veterinary specialty hospitals in the country, offering immediate support to our doctors for not only emergency, but specialty consultations.
