Progressive two doctor small animal veterinary hospital in Pocatello looking for a quality veterinary technician to join our team. Certification not required, but previous experience is a must! Ability to multitask a must. We utilize our technicians to their fullest abilities, including restraining patients during exams, performing phlebotomies, placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs(including dental rads), performing dental prophys, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Computer/front desk skills essential, as you will occasionally have to answer the phones and schedule appointments. Another set of requirements are kindness, compassion, and RELIABILITY. No evenings or weekends required. 27-38 hours/week, depending on your needs, but we for sure need someone who can be here all day Monday, Tuesday, and Friday(8-5:30 with one hour unpaid lunch). Additional hours are available for Wednesday if desired.

Mountain View Veterinary Hospital is a one doctor small animal veterinary hospital in Pocatello, ID. We are the newest clinic in Pocatello, having been established in 2014. We pride ourselves in our customer service and friendly atmosphere. We know our clients well, and often are treating the whole family and extended family. We treat our patients as though they are members of our family, and try to maintain an upbeat, positive, happy experience for them so that going to the doctor doesn't have to be so scary. We are open from 7:00-5:30 Monday through Friday. We perform dentals and soft tissue surgeries several mornings/week. We also help Bannock Feral Friends with discounted feline spay/neuters. The rest of the time we are seeing appointments.
