Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital is a state of the art, small animal exclusive practice currently looking for a part time or full time veterinarian to join our family. Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital was established in 1943 and continues to be a leader in providing quality, compassionate veterinary care in the community. Our current facility was built in 1995 specifically as a veterinary hospital, which provides many advantages over a facility converted into a veterinary hospital. We pride ourselves on providing excellence in our medical services for our patients, while always keeping quality of life the primary focus. The hospital is equipped with four exam rooms, a two-table surgical suite, digital radiology and ultrasound, surgical laser, therapeutic cold laser, and full service in house laboratory. We are a diverse group of doctors and staff that are passionate about our patients and look forward to adding a new member who shares our passion.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have DVM or VMD from AVMA accredited institution
• License to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee
• DEA licensure preferred
• Commitment to practicing high quality medicine
• Dedication to remaining up to date with advances in veterinary medicine
• Strong surgical skills and extensive knowledge of a variety of surgical techniques
• Outgoing with excellent communication skills
• Collaborative attitude to work with colleagues and support staff
• Availability approximately 3-4 days/week and some Saturdays (9am-12pm)

We are housed in a stand alone building specifically built as a veterinary hospital. We offer a wide variety of services including: wellness health care, in-house laboratory diagnostics, off site laboratory diagnostic services, digital radiography, ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, laser surgery, orthopedic surgery, cold laser therapy, internal medicine services, and hospitalization of patients.
