Village Square Woodside Veterinary Hospital, a 3-doctor small animal hospital based in Redwood City, CA, is searching for an Associate DVM. Doctors who have excellent surgical skills and enjoy serving as a mentor would be fantastic additions to our team.

Scheduling needs:

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (4 or 5 days/week). We have dedicated surgery days and take technician appointments and drop offs, as needed. Our doctors primarily work from 9am-6pm and are provided flexible scheduling + ample PTO so they can truly vacation and have time to enjoy Southern California’s beauty. We’re also happy to accommodate NO weekend, on-call, or afterhour emergency responsibilities in this role.

Commitment to mentorship:

We’re searching for a DVM who has prior experience and enjoys mentorship (giving + receiving). Aside from collaborating with our 3 doctors, and the Portola Valley team, additional ways we'll provide mentorship and support your professional growth include: 

• Annual $2,500 CE allowance with days to attend
• Guidance from a talented Medical Advisory Board
• Structured mentorship program (for early career veterinarians or interested mentors)
• Monthly DVM rounds with an internal medicine specialist
• Dentistry training courtesy of a board-certified dental specialist
