Veazie Veterinary Clinic is thrilled to announce that we are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our skilled and collaborative team in Bangor, Maine! We are an AAHA-accredited and Certified Cat Friendly practice that provides exceptional, specialized care through knowledge, teamwork and compassion. Our DVMs do not work overnights, holidays or weekends! We offer abundant opportunities for education and growth, while placing an emphasis on nurturing special interests that our staff may have.

Who We Are:
Veazie Veterinary Clinic is an incredibly unique and extraordinary veterinary hospital that provides routine and specialized care to small animals in Bangor, Maine and other surrounding communities. We often see clients from the northern half of the state with more difficult cases, which gives our doctors ample opportunity to use their veterinary skills that go beyond routine care. Our hospital is staffed by a highly trained and experienced team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff who are truly dedicated to providing the best care possible to our clients and patients. The team's expertise, combined with the hospital's state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, allow for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions.
Several of our DVM’s in our hospital have branched out to more specialized areas of veterinary medicine such as Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Oncology/Chemotherapy, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine and Reproductive Medicine. At Veazie, we encourage and provide opportunities and support for growth within the field with our established Mentorship Program. Our high functioning team of technicians provide support to the doctors allowing them to provide top-of-the-line, gold-standard care for their patients. We even staff an emergency veterinarian to see daytime emergent cases, allowing the rest of the team to focus on their patients when they are at work, and enjoy their personal time when they are off!
Our doctors have state-of-the-art technology at their disposal to diagnose and treat a plethora of both common and uncommon conditions. Veazie Veterinary Clinic is equipped with a CO2 Surgical Laser, CT Scan, Ultrasound with both cardiac and abdominal probes, digital dental and regular radiographs, Laparoscopic/Endoscopic tower in a dedicated separate surgical suite, full Idexx In-House Labs, LigaSure and an entirely separate ER and ICU triage/treatment area for more critical cases.
