VCA Five Points Animal Hospital is searching for an Associate Veterinarian for companion animal care to join our busy practice outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!

Five Points Animal Hospital is open 7 days a week to better serve our patients and clients. We are also less than two hours from Cleveland’s Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, a little over 4 hours from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and 5.5 hours from The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia for fun weekend trips.

Our hospital is adjacent to Pittsburgh International Airport, as well as a large shopping community. If you like the rural life, you don’t have to look too far to find luscious farmland. Western Pennsylvania boasts beautiful outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and skiing, as well as numerous options for dining, wineries, and other nightlife/social events. Pittsburgh also has top-rated medical facilities for you and your family, affordable cost-of-living.

We are looking for a considerate veterinarian with effective communication skills who enjoys progressive medicine (varied caseload), surgery, dentistry, and the camaraderie of working with others in a private practice setting. We are a busy practice and constantly growing with a large clientele who loves our doctors. Our tenured team likes to have fun while working hard, so a sense of humor is a must.  Our staff works cooperatively and our doctors routinely consult with one another. We value the very best associates and invite them to join our team. We have a user-friendly EMR, digital radiography, and dental radiography. Dedicated associate veterinarians can request other equipment with supplemental training. VCA offers an excellent base salary, along with an unlimited earnings with production.
