VCA High Peaks Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Ray Brook, New York.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians.  We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

VCA High Peaks works closely with a doctor who provides wildlife liaison services for any wildlife brought into the hospital and has a doctor that worked in raptor rehabilitation! In addition to the occasional wildlife patient, we are a small animal practice that regularly sees dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and pocket pets!

We are looking for Full-time or Part-time staff. We are open 6 days/week. Full-time doctors would include 4 days/week with a rotating Saturday.

Ray Brook is the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts – located between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, it has perfect access to waterways and hiking opportunities!

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120K - $150K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
