Washington Veterinary Hospital is opening a brand-new location at 1620 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA. Our mission has always been to provide exceptional pet care and support, and this expansion is a significant step towards making our services more accessible to you and your furry companions.

Consider joining our practice as a Associate Veterinarian! We are seeking to add a full-time, highly motivated Veterinarian to our dynamic team!  We have a tremendous, family oriented staff including four highly collaborative doctors and excellent supporting staff, all with 20+ years of service within the hospital. The opportunity also offers great mentorship to learn from very experienced veterinarians in a highly collaborative environment.

Our team has a strong partnership with clients built on clear, consistent communication and education. We have a very loyal following among our extended pet families throughout the community. We are a well-established practice with a diverse caseload. We practice quality medicine in a warm and friendly facility!

We focus on a very high standard of medicine while working with the client to develop a manageable patient care plan. Our hospital stresses preventive care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups & treatments, surgery, as well as behavior and nutrition counseling in a high service and family friendly environment.

We are looking for just the right individual with 1+ years of experience in general medicine and surgery to join our dynamic and compassionate team, and will consider recent graduates with exceptional medicine and communication skills. The right candidate will have a strong interest in medicine, be client-oriented, have strong client education skills, and be a team player.

You need to be a person of good character, customer service oriented, hard working, detail oriented, thorough, timely, a good communicator, friendly, and teachable,

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

· DVM or VMD degree

· A current Pennsylvania license

· Prefer at least 1 year of experience, but new graduates are also highly encouraged within our highly collaborative and mentorship focused practice!

· Some solid surgical skills preferred AND A desire to work with clients delivering consistent quality of medical care to our patients!
