We are seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian interested in Urgent Care to join our fantastic team!

At Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic we are a full-service companion animal hospital with routine and urgent care services. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout our patients' lives. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as pets age; and complete medical, emergency, and surgical care as necessary during their lifetime. 

Coming soon, Lake Huron Vet Clinic will be adding Urgent Care services and hours! 

Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic is proud to offer state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Our hospital provides a full range of surgical services ranging from standard spaying and neutering to advanced, highly specialized procedures including Soft-tissue, Orthopedic, Neurological, Dental, Ophthalmic, and foreign body removal.

We are also proud to offer veterinary care for exotic pets! We provide exotic veterinary care for reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and other pocket pets. Our exotics doctor is a member of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.

Whether you are a new graduate, or an experienced doctor, we are the practice for you! Our supportive work environment enables doctors to pursue their interests in vet med. We are passionate about mentoring and supporting veterinarians through our outstanding Mentorship Program.  Our Mentors receive extensive mentorship training and are now Certified Clinical Mentors, so any new graduates can participate in a structured and rewarding mentorship program.

Our management and medical leadership are committed to supporting our team through career development, continuing education, and personal goals. Through our incredible Leadership Development Program you can learn the ways we are helping change the Veterinary industry for the better!  All Veterinarians will find interesting, diverse, and challenging cases, with a manageable caseload. Immerse yourself in maritime lore by visiting the only existing lightship on the Great Lakes, the Huron Lightship. The Great Lakes Maritime Center will give you insight on the great lakes and ocean-going freighters navigating one of the busiest waterways in the world. Also tour Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, Michigan’s oldest working lighthouse.

Walk the historic downtown district amidst grand brick storefronts and discover quaint specialty shops and enriching art galleries. Enjoy the new Sperry Movie Theatre and The City Flats Hotel as well as casual dining along the waterfront of the St. Clair River or Black River. Boaters will find a beautiful marina to suit their needs. Take a sight-seeing boat cruise or hop aboard the Blue Water Trolley.  Discover beaches and spots for picnicking, walking, and biking in the vast presence the Blue Water Bridges, connecting Port Huron to Ontario, Canada. 

Qualifications:

• MI DVM License.  Active and in good standing.
• All Experience levels welcome to apply including new graduates!
• Interest in Urgent Care is a must.
