An Exciting Range of Patients 

Arbor View is unique in that we treat a wide range of animals including canine, feline, avian, reptile, small mammals, aquatic and other zoo/non-traditional exotic patients.  Currently, 38% of our patients are exotic pets and ALL of our doctors are head-over-heels passionate about these unique species.  We even have one of the few Aquatic Certified Veterinarians (CertAqV) on staff.  We proudly consider ourselves the foremost exotics clinic in Northwest Indiana.  Arbor View also has a wildlife rehab license, allowing us to care for injured wildlife, should this be an interest for any veterinarians joining our team.

Mentorship and Collaboration 

New grads, don't worry! We've got a structured mentorship program just for you, and it's not limited to the basics, especially for exotic pet medicine. Dive into exciting exotic pet cases, diagnostics, and treatments with guided mentorship from our experienced team of vets. Whether you have a difficult case or a first time surgery you’re never alone and our veterinarians are always there to help.   

Cutting-Edge Facility 

Our recently expanded 8700 sq ft veterinary facility has 13 exam rooms and in-house state-of-the-art equipment, including CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography (including dental), endoscopy, ultrasound, and more, you'll have all the tools you need to shine.

We operate by appointment only with a flexible static work schedule and our doctors only work 1 half Saturday every 6-8 weeks.  We also refer out any after hour emergencies to our local emergency clinics!

We're AAHA accredited and dedicated to providing top-notch care to our patients. We take the time to get to know our clients, foster an incredible staff camaraderie, and practice high-quality medicine that we're truly passionate about.

About Arbor View Animal Hospital

Arbor View Animal Hospital in Valparaiso, IN, is a privately owned progressive companion animal hospital. Conveniently located just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Windy City (less than 45 min from Chicago) in beautiful Northwest Indiana. Arbor View Animal Hospital is a multi doctor practice and we have a solid mentorship program for new grads. We are AAHA accredited and it is our goal to provide high quality evidenced based medicine. We operate by appointment only and focus on developing lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. We treat a wide range of animals including canine, feline, avian, exotic, reptile, small pocket pets, aquatic/fish, other exotic/non-traditional pets and wildlife patients. We are known for our fun work environment, consistent high quality patient care and taking care of our employees. Arbor View is open for appointments 5.5 days a week and we refer after hour emergencies to outside local ER clinics.
