New grads welcome! We are looking for an associate veterinarian to fill either a part-time or full-time role. Flexible scheduling so you can have plenty of time to spend at the beach, stroll through the parks, or enjoy time outside of work with your loved ones.
About us:
Privately owned small animal practice in the busy Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. Our 3,500 square foot facility includes 3 large exam rooms, a spacious lobby, surgery suite, full in-house laboratory, digital x-rays and dental x-rays, and so much more.
We strive to meet and exceed the standards of care and are always looking to practice the most up to date medicine.
Most of our staff have been here for many years and know our wonderful clients and patients very well. Professional, yet warm and friendly, we are looking to welcome another member to our awesome team. From sharing baked goods to dad jokes, we aim to create a positive and low-stress work environment for everyone.
About the position:
- Primary veterinary services for mostly dogs and cats, including routine exams, vaccinations, sick appointments
- Surgery experience and willingness to expand skill set a plus but not required
- Full time position is typically 30-32 hours a week, and a maximum of 36 hours per week
- Flexible hours, we can work around your schedule
- Office hours are 8-6 or Mondays to Fridays, 8-1 Saturdays
- No on call hours, no hospitalized patients or boarding animals to worry about
- New and recent graduates are welcome and will get structured mentorship
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on number of hours worked per week.
