Resident Veterinarian
Immediate opening for a resident veterinarian at Hanover Shoe Farms, the greatest name in harness racing!  This is a full time, seasonal position ending July 31, 2024, with the option to apply for permanent position.  New graduates are welcome to apply.   Veterinary work will be shared between two resident veterinarians. The distributions of the responsibilities can be tailored to the applicant's interest.  Responsibilities include reproductive work, foaling and neonatal medicine, emergencies, and general veterinary care of the farm's resident mares, foals, yearlings, stallions, and retirees.   There are a great variety of cases seen from minor things such as small wounds, corneal ulcers, and hoof abscesses to more complicated cases like dystocias, dummy and
