Veterinary Student Externship
This is a new experience for us, to please bear with us! Our company has recently had the pleasure of working with a fourth year veterinary student for an externship and it went well for both parties, so we are interested in providing this type of experience for other students as well! We are a small, non-profit, wildlife rehabilitation center located in the Florida panhandle. We typically see around 1,600 patients a year, with busy season stretching from March - October. The most commonly encountered species include squirrels, opossums, raccoons, foxes, turtles, tortoises, bats, pelicans, gulls, herons, hawks, owls, and a variety of songbirds.
