Colorado Equine Veterinary Services has openings for an associate veterinarians. CEVS is a 95% equine practice with the other species including all other large animals, located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado area. We are well equipped with digital radiography, digital ultrasound, 3m endoscopy, in house blood machines, ESWT unit, biologic joint therapies, well stocked ambulatory vehicles, and hospital facilities along with support and office staff to assist the doctors in the customer and patient care. We are a 4 doctor practice looking to add two additional full time veterinarians to our staff. Our patients are made up of a wide variety of disciplines including western performance horses, english sport horses and back yard pets. There is ample opportunity in the area as well for someone that has an interest treating other farm animals.
The individuals that we are looking for need to be a highly motivated, very responsible person interested in practicing high quality equine medicine and surgery both in an ambulatory and hospital setting. Internship completion or at least 2-3 years experience in clinical practice is desired. Veterinarians with interest and proficiency in lameness and/or repro are the ideal candidates. They must have a Colorado Veterinary License or be able to obtain a Colorado Veterinary License in a timely manner once the position is accepted. Some after hours emergency duty may be required in this position.
