Burien Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to add to our welcoming team.

ABOUT BURIEN VET: We are a privately owned, general, full service, companion animal practice that has been serving our community for 74 years. The building is approximately 6,000 sq. ft., with separate entrances for canines & felines, 5 exam rooms, and separate treatment area & surgical suite.   We have an incredible client base that has been returning for generations & entrusting us with their pet's care. Burien Vet is a progressive, AAHA  accredited hospital (25 yrs.).  We provide all aspects of medical care including well-care, comprehensive work-ups, dentistry, digital radiography, ultrasound,  soft-tissue surgery, and some orthopedics.   We pride ourselves in having a solid, fun support staff that is very experienced and knowledgeable and continues to grow.  We have 3 LVT's and 7 assistants.  We have 3.5 veterinarians that are very experienced, collaborate frequently together, and are valued mentors and role models.  Our doctor's are excited to mentor and share their knowledge and skills with a newer vet, as well as collaborate and learn from a seasoned veterinarian.  Doctors have the freedom to practice within agreed upon boundaries.  We use Cornerstone practice management software, Idexx reference lab, in-house Idexx analyzers, and Idexx telemedicine for radiology reports.

• WA State Veterinary License
• Full time position ideal (we can discuss a part-time option).
• Full time position is 4 days a week
• No night shifts, no weekends, and no major holidays to work
• Surgical skills are desirable, and we are willing to teach and mentor!
• Must have a compassionate, friendly, approachable personality.  Sense of humor is a plus!
