Job Description:
As a Veterinarian at HealthySmiles Pet Dental, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional preventive and dental care to pets. You’ll work in a supportive environment where you can focus on what you do best—providing top-notch care for animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive care including (wellness exams, vaccines, limited wound care, and lab testing)
- Perform dental examinations, cleanings, extractions, and other minor dental procedures.
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions in pets.
- Educate pet owners on the importance of dental health and preventive care.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary dentistry.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license in Texas.
- Experience in veterinary dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Experience with minor anesthetic procedures is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
