We go into this field to help pets and their people. 

We started our practice from scratch with the strong belief that if you provide good medicine and treat people right the financials will take care of themselves.  We are 7 years into this endeavor and this model works.  Oakes Animal Hospital is currently a 3 veternarian practice expanding to a 5 doctor practice. We provide a great salary and benefits package: Competitive salary (six figure plus for full time with pro-sal options), comprehensive benefits package including sign on bonus, health, dental, vision insurances, retirement plan, PTO, CE, great pet care plan, etc, etc..  And you will never be asked to “sell” anything.  We only ask that you provide compassionate quality care to your patients and clients. 

Oakes Animal Hospital is made up of a close-knit work family with the common goal of providing excellent care to all our clients and  patients. We appreciate our own young families, and would like for all our team to maintain a home/work life balance that brings out our best.  No after hours emergencies or on call. We are seeking a fourth and fifth veterinarian to join us in this pursuit as we expand our hospital. We are expanding our already modern hospital to 4000 sq ft and 7 exam rooms.  Our veterinarians work closely together and enjoy collaborating on cases. We have 3 very experienced veterinarians (almost 45 years of experience between us) that are eager to mentor a new or less experienced veterinarian if needed.

We have a wonderful and knowledgeable support staff taking care of everything so you can focus on medicine. They even help complete medical records.  Our low turnover rate is a testament to our happy and engaged staff.  We have a good time at work and like to offer company outings/gatherings for staff and family a few times per year. We believe in taking time to connect with and educate clients.
