Encanto Pet Clinic in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an associate veterinarian to complete our veterinary team!

Encanto Pet Clinic is a well-established, fully equipped practice, which has been serving the Tucson community since 1999. We currently employ 2 full-time veterinarians in addition to our team of experienced veterinary support staff. 

We offer FULL TIME benefits starting at just 30 hours a week!  

Our compensation package includes competitive base salaries with generous sign-on and relocation bonuses available. The way we approach our work matters.  Our core values- do the right thing, fun, wow service, respect, and learning- guide everything we do at Encanto Pet Clinic. Our medical director, Dr. Michael Lent, is a Purdue graduate with 32 years of experience, including mentoring younger veterinarians and being very involved in organized veterinary medicine. He has served as president of both the Southern AZ Veterinary Medical Association, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, and as a board member on the Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board. He has been involved with the Animal Cruelty Task Force of southern AZ (www.act-az.org), assisting law enforcement in investigations and educating the public about the link between animal abuse and human violence, especially domestic violence and child abuse. He currently serves as one of two Arizona delegates to the American Veterinary Medical Association. Working with Dr. Lent is a unique opportunity to not only be mentored in veterinary practice, but veterinary leadership.

Community Impact

Our commitment to pets extends beyond our clinic walls. We work closely with Cody’s Friends, a local charity that donates food and other goods, as well as helps with veterinary care, to pets and families in need.

Our Team Members have the opportunity to give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals

Life in Tucson…

We are located in Midtown Tucson, 5 minutes from the bustling campus of the University of Arizona, 10 minutes from downtown which is full of arts and cultural amenities.  We have hundreds of hiking, running and mountain biking trails.  It is always sunny with 350+ days of sunshine a year! Beautiful Tucson is surrounded by four mountain ranges, one with the southernmost ski area in the US at 9300 feet.  We are just a 4-hour drive from Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point)—a Mexican resort and fishing city on the Gulf of California. We are also the home to Saguaro National Park—an amazing desert oasis with giant cacti and a fantastic variety of wildlife.
