Village Square Woodside Veterinary Hospital, a 4-doctor small animal hospital based in Redwood City, CA, is searching for an Associate DVM. Doctors who have excellent surgical skills and enjoy serving as a mentor would be fantastic additions to our team.
Mentorship/training is a priority! We serve as the training facility for our sister location in Portola Valley. The staff at Woodside have been here for years and know the ins and outs of veterinary medicine
Our RVTs and technicians are well utilized. A large aspect of our culture is allowing our technicians to advance their skills and work up to their highest ability (including dental extractions)
We collaborate effortlessly. Between our two hospitals, our teams are interchangeable, and we’ve created a culture focused on learning, asking questions, and helping our wherever needed
We provide a range of services, from wellness exams and dental care to surgery, nutritional counseling, and more
Scheduling needs:
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (4 or 5 days/week). We have dedicated surgery days and take technician appointments and drop offs, as needed. Our doctors primarily work from 9am-6pm and are provided flexible scheduling + ample PTO so they can truly vacation and have time to enjoy Southern California’s beauty. We’re also happy to accommodate NO weekend, on-call, or after-hour emergency responsibilities in this role.
Commitment to mentorship:
We’re searching for a DVM who has prior experience and enjoys mentorship (giving + receiving). Aside from collaborating with our 3 doctors, and the Portola Valley team, additional ways we'll provide mentorship and support your professional growth include:
Annual $2,500 CE allowance with days to attend
