Choice Vets Pet Care is currently searching for a full or part-time small animal veterinarian to complement our work family!

We are seeking a professional that would like to join a family-like work atmosphere who enjoys educating clients while providing excellent patient care during our 30 minute Wellness and 40 minute Non-well Appointments. This position requires NO WEEKENDS, NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS AND NO ON-CALL AFTER HOURS DUTY (we refer to a local after-hours emergency hospital in Erie), however, should you prefer to take on after-hour surgeries, there is a 50% commission for your efforts. Our practice offers a robust in-house IDEXX laboratory (including the most current blood, urine and cytology machines - Procyte, Catalyst, Sediview, and In-View DX Cytology Analyzer). The cytology analyzer is the first and only in the region. We have Karl Storz endoscopy and laproscopy Equipment, digital radiography, high quality ultrasound, digital dental imaging, Class IV Laser Therapy, Cryotherapy, Ligasure vessel sealer, a broad pharmacy and more.  Please go to our website CHOICEVETS.COM for more information and please check out what clients say about us (google and facebook reviews).

Our current veterinary associate works 4 days per week and sees an average of 13 appointments per day. He is scheduled for 34-36 hours per week and earns between $180,000 and $190,000 excluding benefits.

We are located in a beautiful quiet, residential setting just West of Erie, Pennsylvania. We currently employ two veterinarians and 12 support staff members, but are thrilled at the opportunity to expand our staff and be able to expand our client base according to the needs and desires of our region.
