About the Role:

Are you an experienced Urgent Care or Associate Veterinarian looking for a new opportunity? Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian, and we want you to join us!

Our ideal hours include Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am – 8:00pm.  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am – 7:00pm. but we are flexible and open to discussing a schedule that fits your needs and ours.

About Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital:

Our beautiful hospital is a full-service small animal practice offering the best in medical, surgical, and customer care and has been in the community since 1972. Our clinic is newly expanded/remodeled, added in surgical and dental suites, a separate cat waiting area, additional exam rooms, ultrasound room, a staff room, additional office space, and even an apartment room to stay overnight if commuting! These changes have allowed us to better accommodate our patients and staff and help us to continue offering the high level (AAHA Accredited) care our clients have come to expect over the years.

Most importantly, we have a well-trained and well-utilized support staff. They are empowered to do everything they are trained to do, including taking radiographs, placing IV catheters, intubating, monitoring, and medicating patients. Every doctor is well-supported by minimally 2.5 technicians and assistants each day at our current 7 doctor practice!

Ideal qualifications:

• Urgent Care or Emergency Experience preferred
• Iowa Veterinary License – active and in good standing
• 1+ Years DVM Experience
• Team-oriented mentality that supports our collaborative culture
