Cheyenne Pet Clinic is an AAHA accredited, full service general practice veterinary clinic and wildlife rehabilitation center. Serving the community with energy, enthusiasm, and dedication for over 50 years, we are the oldest and largest clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian (considerations will be made for part time interest) to join us. When you choose to become a member of our team, you gain access to state of the art medical equipment and services. This includes ultrasound, digital imaging, digital dental radiography, CO2 laser, video otoscopy, electrocautery, IDEXX in house laboratory equipment, and a Companion therapy laser.
We are committed to a professional atmosphere that supports camaraderie, communication, and a culture of learning. Our clinic is newly renovated and beautifully appointed, creating a pleasant atmosphere for clients, patients, and work family. We also have a resident teaching raptor who lives full time on-site. Aside from our in-house services, our relationships with specialists in Colorado (we’re only 45 minutes from Fort Collins) offer access to a mobile orthopedic surgeon and a mobile internal medicine/radiology specialist.
Cheyenne is Wyoming’s largest city with a rich Wild-West history at your fingertips. For outdoor enthusiasts, we also have it all within 100 miles – skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and boating! For those who would prefer to stay in town, there’s a thriving art & cultural scene with a wide variety of local museums, community theaters, and art galleries. Be sure to check out the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and Western celebration each July – plus dress for the occasion by visiting The Wrangler Store downtown!
The ideal candidate will exhibit critical thinking skills to work-up complex medical cases, enjoy team collaboration, and values essential preventative care and client education. A candidate with a learning mindset, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and grow will thrive at Cheyenne Pet Clinic. We are excited to offer mentorship to new graduates and a collegial atmosphere to seasoned clinicians.
