We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in delivering exceptional medical care for the Fort Smith community. Our Vetco Total Care hospitals are full-service, general practice hospitals with a large treatment area, full surgical suite, digital x-ray suite, digital dental x-ray, and ultrasound.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of health conditions in animals, working closely with pet owners to provide care and treatment thorough guidance and support. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with other veterinary professionals dedicated to the highest standards of animal care. The ideal Veterinary Doctor will have strong diagnostic skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Requirements and Qualifications: • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited institution. • Licensure: Must be eligible to hold a veterinary license in the state of Arkansas. • Experience: Prior experience as a Veterinary Doctor in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. • Skills: Proficient in diagnostic and surgical procedures, with excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle animals, stand for long periods, and manage physically demanding tasks. • Attributes: Empathy, patience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal care.
