Ferguson Animal Hospital in North Providence, Rhode Island is looking for a veterinarian to join our team! We welcome new grads and experienced DVMs to join our team! We can offer mentoring with our team of experienced Veterinary professionals.
Ferguson Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the best in medical and surgical care. To support this, we have in house IDEXX lab machines, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, Tonovet, lift tables in our exam rooms, and we use IDEXX Neo cloud-based software for our electronic medical records. Our surgery suite has, cautery, surgical laser, orthopedic instruments, at least two technicians to monitor and assist with surgeries, and we use Sevoflurane. We also have a dental suite with a newer dental machine and dentistry equipment. Most importantly, we have an amazing support staff. Our technician to doctor ratio is 3:1, which enables our doctors to be incredibly efficient and get out of work on time!
Our medical director, Dr. Craig Hopkins, does some orthopedic surgery, but we also have a board-certified surgeon come in as needed. There are several emergency and specialty hospitals nearby, so no on-call or overnight shifts are required. Since Dr. Hopkins became owner, he and his staff have worked hard to gain the trust of the North Providence and surrounding communities, which has led to well-educated clients willing to follow recommendations. You can learn more about our hospital at fergusonanimalhospital.com.
We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees.
