Powell Veterinary Clinicis a small animal clinic located in Powell, Ohio. Powell is located in the Olentangy Valley between the Scioto and Olentangy Rivers. We are a quick twenty-five-minute drive to downtown Columbus, Ohio. Whether it is shopping for a one-of-a-kind gift in our historic downtown or exploring the Olentangy Indian Caverns, there is something for everyone to see and do!
Practice Overview
Powell Veterinary Clinic has been locally owned and operated since 1982. Our team currently consists of three passionate veterinarians who believe in delivering high-quality medicine while educating pet owners. Our clinic is equipped to perform in-house blood work, digital radiography, class 4 laser, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. We foster a teamwork environment and empower our staff to bring their ideas of both medicine and management style to the table. We are a hardworking, collaborative team that values the work that we do!
What You’ll Be Working On
Build and maintain client relationships
Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases including exotics
Perform surgicaland dental procedures
Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
Possess a DVM or equivalent degree
Be licensed or able to be licensed to practice in Ohio
Minimum of three years experience
Experience with exotic animal cases encouraged, but not required
Dental, surgical, and internal medicine experience required
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
