• Salary: Base salary of $120-$150,000 + production bonus (negotiable depending on experience)
• Sign-on/Retention Bonus: up to $40,000
• Hospital equity gift available after 1 year of employment: in addition, future buy-in opportunities are available

Hours of Operation: 

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Pine Bluff Animal Hospital has proudly served the Morris, Illinois, community since 1975. As an AAHA-accredited, full-service veterinary hospital, we’re dedicated to delivering outstanding care for dogs, cats, and exotic animals of all ages and breeds.

Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. We offer a full range of services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics, laser therapy, routine and advanced surgical procedures including spays, neuters, orthopedic surgeries, and laparoscopic-assisted gastropexy.

We work closely with Great Dane breeders, handlers, and rescue organizations, giving us a unique opportunity to handle many torsion cases and perform numerous preventive gastropexy surgeries. Dr. Brian Schmidt is highly skilled in laparoscopic-assisted gastropexy, a minimally invasive technique for at-risk breeds.

Additionally, Pine Bluff Animal Hospital is a certified PennHip provider. This advanced, non-invasive radiographic technique allows us to screen dogs for hip looseness as early as 4 months of age. Our hospital is fully equipped with an IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiography, electrocardiogram (EKG), and ultrasound.
