First Capitol Animal Hospital is searching for an associate veterinarian who is passionate about quality animal care to join our team.

Our clinic, located in beautiful St. Charles, Missouri has a wonderful reputation for providing exceptional veterinary care to dogs, cats, exotics and even birds of prey!! Conveniently located less than 30 mins from downtown St. Louis and 10 minutes from the STL International Airport, adventure awaits! 

We are eager to welcome a new veterinarian to our DVM team and continue to provide quality care to our community's pets. 

This is a full-time or part-time role with flexible weekday coverage and alternating Saturdays (half days). We’re open to DVMs of all skill levels, including new graduates. We are excited to teach and are ready to welcome you with open arms and open minds. 

Our veterinarians provide a wide range of care stretching from pet wellness, general surgery, orthopedics, dentistry, and the occasional amputation.

Currently our team includes two full-time veterinarians, two regular relief veterinarians, 1 RVT (registered vet technician) and 11 support staff members. Primarily seeing dogs and cats, there are also birds of prey and exotics from existing clients we get to see. 

The practice houses 5 exam rooms, and the treatment area is well equipped with iM3 units, heated surgery tables, electrosurgery units, and more!
