The primary role of the full-time Veterinary Technology Instructor - Veterinarian involves teaching students through lectures and laboratories ensuring alignment with curriculum and AVMA standards. Additional faculty duties include contributing to program committees and ensuring regulatory compliance (Advisory Committee, IACUC, CVTEA, AVMA), curriculum development, student advisement, professional development and participation in departmental and college level activities.
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD)
Licensed in Delaware
A minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience in companion animal medicine, including anesthesia and surgery, are also required.
