Central Kentucky Veterinary Services is a well-established, private family owned; small animal hospital located 20 minutes northeast of the city of Lexington. CKVS is a full-service small animal clinic offering our clients vet care, overnight boarding and daycare with our kennel attendant staff, and grooming with 2 full-time groomers. Dr. Hardy Dungan opened CKVS as a brick-and-mortar hospital in 2005. Prior to that, Dr. Dungan was a large animal mobile vet for reproductive work with thoroughbred horses and cattle. In 2004, Dr. Dungan had the opportunity to obtain a well-established clinic and wanted the addition of offering services for small companion animals for his community.
