Anderson Animal Hospital is happy to offer externships to veterinary students with opportunities for employment following graduation! Our hospital is located in the small charming town of Hartsville, South Carolina. We are a mixed animal practice that has provided comprehensive veterinary care to dogs, cats, and horses since 2002. 

During your externship you can expect to perform physical exams, assist with procedures and treatments pertaining to appointments, surgical cases, and emergency cases. Housing assistance is also included. This is a great opportunity learn and grow your skills in a multi-doctor private practice with a team dedicated to providing mentorship, practicing high quality medicine, and supporting work-life balance. 

Our facility is equipped with full in-house Idexx and Imagyst laboratory equipment, digital x-ray and ultrasound (mobile units also available for ambulatory services), therapeutic laser, ocular tonometry, small animal dental unit, surgical suite, large animal treatment area with stocks and two horse stalls, equine powerfloat, and endoscopy.
