Searching for an associate veterinarian to join our team! Full and part-time applicants being considered!
City Limits Vet Clinic opened its doors on April 10th, 2020. It is privately owned by doctors who continue to work there. We have a phenomenal clientele who allow us to practice high quality medicine. Over the past four years, we have collected some of the best staff Austin has to offer. Our team is knowledgeable, gets along with each other, are hard workers, and have a sense of humor. We use colorful language (in the kindest ways possible) and aim to have a good time each day while working. Culture is extremely important to us and this has kept us from having staff turnover. The practice is limited to cats and dogs at this time but we will support any candidates that have an interest in exotic medicine.
Common benefits we offer: -Competitive base salary with commission bonus' -CE Allowance -Health Insurance -Licensure dues -Liability insurance dues -PTO -Personal pet discounts
Benefits that set us apart from the rest: -Privately owned -No weekends! -No on-call! -Flexible schedule -Full time is 4 days a week -2 hour break in the middle of the day to ensure you get a lunch break and have plenty of time for call backs and records -30 minute appointment times -Skilled staff that perform staff duties so that your time can be spent on doctor duties -Collaborative environment where DVMs help each other with difficult cases -New equipment including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical suite, dental suite, full anesthetic monitoring equipment in a beautiful hospital -Low stress approach to medicine (e.g. we will not allow 3 techs to hold a struggling patient down for a nail trim; HUGE fans of gaba/traz!)
The ideal candidate has good communication skills, gets along with others, and a great work ethic. While we understand that everyone practices medicine a little differently, we do have a standard of care that we require all our doctors to practice at. We are willing to mentor ambitious new or newish graduates.
