The Gentle Vet, located in the heart of Essex County, New Jersey, is actively seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join our practice. This opportunity offers a highly competitive base salary, production-based incentive pay, and a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, vision, life insurance, a simple IRA, paid vacation, continuing education, and paid licensing and membership dues. Compensation is negotiable depending on experience. We encourage our doctors to make their own schedule! New graduates are always welcome!

We are a family-owned practice that opened in February 2023. Our general practice veterinary hospital brings modern medicine and old-fashioned client care to our vibrant community. Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school or an ECFVG certification
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures
• Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to interpret diagnostic tests.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners
