Howes Cave Animal Hospital is a progressive, rural, well equipped 3 doctor small animal hospital in the Capital District Region in upstate New York.  We are looking for a full time NYS licensed veterinarian.  Although we are a small hospital it is a very productive practice that sees a variety of cases and a heavy surgical schedule.  The hospital has 3 exam rooms, a large treatment area, pharmacy/lab area (with new in house urinalysis, chemistry, and CBC machine) and a 2 bay surgical suite with a beautiful view of the hills.  Our hospital has digital X-ray, new ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and well stocked pharmacy.   There are  experienced veterinary technicians and a great long term support staff awaiting to assist you.  We strive for a friendly environment and provide excellent affordable animal care.  We work hard, yet have time for personal interests, activities, and families as well.  For full time employment benefits include: 401K, paid professional dues and insurance, paid health care, CE allotment, paid time off, and many opportunities to improve and expand your veterinary career.  There are no after hour emergencies and shared light weekend duties.  Come join our family we look forward to hearing from you.
