Tired of the daily caseload of vaccinations, but not quite ready for the unknown of critical care cases? Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital , located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is looking to hire Veterinarians for our new Urgent Care service line. Urgent Care focuses on non-critical patients in need of after-hours, weekend or immediate care.

This position will include care and services of non-critical care cases, to include skin lacerations, vomiting, bite wounds, ear infections, eye and skin issues, etc. The available shifts will likely be 2pm-11pm Thursday, Friday, and Monday, as well as 10am-11p or 12p-11p on Saturdays and Sundays, with no overnights! Highly trained support staff and registered veterinary technicians will be working alongside our doctors. In addition, consultation with the specialists at NIVES is easy and a quick phone call away.

With this position, you’ll find a competitive benefits package including 401(k), CE, Health and Dental, Life, Disability and Professional Liability Insurance, professional dues and memberships, as well as a moving stipend.

NIVES serves the pet owners and veterinarians in the tri-state region of NE Indiana, SE Michigan and NW Ohio. The new urgent care facility is located adjacent to our main specialty building, separated by a shared parking lot.
