Topline Equine Veterinary, Inc. is a premiere ambulatory practice dedicated to providing top-quality care to horses in and around the San Gabriel and Los Angeles Counties. With a focus on sports medicine and ambulatory practice, we offer a wide range of services to support the health and well-being of our equine patients. The practice is located in beautiful Southern California, an hour to the mountains in one direction and the ocean in the other. There are a variety of extracurricular opportunities available for all interests.  
We are currently seeking an associate Veterinarian with a strong work ethic to join our team. The ideal candidate could be either a recent graduate looking for mentorship and professional growth, or a seasoned veterinarian seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative practice. We are looking for someone who will work well in our professional environment, grow with our organization, and become part of our family.  

Compensation is competitive and will be based on years of experience.  

Topline Equine works closely with referral centers having quick access to MRI, nuclear scintigraphy, PET Scans, and surgery (both elective and emergency). We have access to boarded surgical, internal medicine, and radiology specialists to consult on difficult cases. This access allows us to continue to provide the high standard of medicine for which we are known.  

Our support staff includes a receptionist/office manager for scheduling, a remote technician for digital paperwork and medical record keeping, and multiple field technicians to assist on day-to-day tasks both in the trucks and in the office.

Services: Sports medicine, Pre-purchase exams, dentistry, intra-articular and ultrasound guided injections, field surgery, foal care, reproduction, and much more.  The case load is a combination of sports medicine (western pleasure/hunter/jumpers/dressage), backyard 
pleasure, reproduction, and emergency medicine.  

On call/emergency service: Shared evenly between all doctors. Holiday, weekend, and weekday rotation.

Equipment: Digital radiology unit, two ultrasounds, multiple regenerative medicine modalities (stem cell, IRAP, ProStride and alpha-2), in field gastroscopy, shockwave, etc.  

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - 
Licensed or eligible for licensure in CA. All years of experience encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Dedication to continuing education and staying current on advancements in equine veterinary medicine.
