Aid Animal Hospital is a privately owned and family run, full-service animal hospital that welcomes both primary and emergency cases. We are currently a two doctor practice that provides care for small companion animals and exotic patients. We provide a multitude of services, routine and advanced, such as small tissue, orthopedic, dental, and spay & neuter surgeries as well as primary care services. With over 30 years of service to the community and a long-standing reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care, we offer an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate associate veterinarian to join our team. We have three exam rooms in a beautiful modern facility with top of the line diagnostics such as radiology, cold laser therapy, and ultrasound services. We offer:
starting salary for new graduates $100,00-$125,000

Daily expectations:
- conduct thorough exams and diagnostics to assess animal's health
- administer vaccinations and prescribe medications
- perform routine and advanced surgical procedures
- provide urgent care and triage animals in need
- maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
- stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and practices
We are looking for an individual with a DVM degree, licensed or eligible for licensure in Missouri, and DEA/BNDD eligibility. We are also looking for an individual with strong communication and clinical skills, a positive and team focused mindset, and an individual with an interest in surgery, denistry, and continued learning.
Preferred skills:
- proficient in veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- strong knowledge of animal anatomy and husbandry practices
- experience with animal handling, specifically companion animals
- familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols
- excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with pet owners and staff
- strong problem solving abilities to address medical cases
