Highland Equine Hospital is a primary and referral practice and also offers ambulatory services.  Currently there are 5 full time veterinarians and 18 staff.  Two of the veterinarians are primarily large animal practitioners and two are mixed animal and one primarily small animal. Preceptors participate in many aspects of patient care, and are assigned to a different clinician each week. You will be able to observe clinicians in diagnostic evaluations, radiology, surgery and treatment of hospitalized patients. We also integrate preceptors into our emergency medicine and surgery service.
